A fairly flat 43km time trial. There is only one true time trialist in the Giro and his name is David Zabriskie.
On the forum thread you will see me mention i wanted to oppose him because he had been horribly off form. The key word in that sentance is the word was. He is very much on top form now.
He has been climbing very well considering his climbing ability and has been tking the last few days easily. An on top form David Zabriskie would take this stage with ease.
His opponent for this head to head is Eddy Mazzoleni.
Mazzoleni is a decent time trialist and is also on good form hence the reason he is up against Zabriskie. I really fancy Zabriskie to win the stage, therefore i would back him in any head to head i could find. Odds are very skinny compared to what i like in H2H picks, this one is just nominated on the basis it looks a 90% winner.
