This bet is for Taylor to outright win the Final, it might well be against Barneveld but it might not, it was the only option I had for posting the bet....anyway....

Its been about 3 weeks since the League section of this competition finished and tonight sees the conclusion with the Semi's and Final.

Phil Taylor takes on Dennis Priestley in one semi and the other is between Barneveld and Terry Jenkins.

Taylor went through the league unbeaten besides from a few wobbles in the early rounds, drawing a couple of matches, but this was down to him trying out new darts. Once he gave up on them and returned to his tried and trusted "old" ones he started to blow everyone away again.

I'v ewatched most of this competition and Taylor wants this one badly. He lost to Barneveld in the World Championship 6 months ago and does NOT want to lose to him again.

Priestley started well in the league and secured the points to get through to tonight but has not been playing to his early season form. Taylor has been his nemesis for about 13 years now and he never has the confidence to beat him when he gets a chance (not often).

Barney has the tougher semi against Terry Jenkins who can go from the sublime to the rediculous from one week to the next, he has the game to beat Berneveld and might do that but will fall apart against "The Power" if he gets to the final.

Barneveld is the only one tonight who can beat Taylor, but his game has not been firing of late and Taylor wants this title bigtime. I cant see him losing, simple as that....
