Short preview. A series of good results have seen Mallorca to actually challenging for a European berth rather than battling for survival at this stage of the season. They have been defensive strong… and their performances have been consistent… even if their defeat against Barcelona a few weeks back was de-moralizing… they performed well in that match… and managed to bounce back from there. However, they will still need to be at their best in this match… as they will be hosting the title-challenging Valencia. Valencia are still in the run for the title… though their chances are slimmer than those of Sevilla and Barcelona. Valencia have been pretty inconsistent lately… and missing players such as Vicente, Regueiro and Edu (with Morientes doubtful) will not help. Now, Valencia are still the better team… but I believe their missing players will have an impact to their performance… particularly their offensive creativity. Mallorca will be will full squad… and given their recent performances… they should be able to sneak away with at least a point. Therefore, Mallorca at +1/2 AH will be my choice. Good Luck!~!
