Les Catalans Salford Reds
Was slightly surprised to see Salford getting a start of 14 points in this game. They havent been playing well at all lately so I can see why Catalans are heavy favourites, but I'm not so sure they will win this one so easily.
Apart from two heavy losses away to Saints and Bradford, The City Reds have an okay away record. They've won at Huddersfield, Hull KR and Drawn at Harlequins.
The Catalans have a good home record, beating Leeds by 8 points, Huddersfield by 1 point and Warrington by 11 points. They also have losses to Wigan by 2 points and Harlequins by 22 points.
If Salford dont get a win soon they are gonna find it very difficult to get off the bottom. They are already 3 points behind Hull KR who are gonna improve with the signing of Paul Cooke. If Salford lose this one they will also end up 6 points behind The Catalans, something I really dont think Karl Harrison will want to see. I think they'll be going all out for something from this game.
Catalans haven't covered a 14 point start yet this season and I dont think they will against a highly motivated and back to full strength Salford side.
I'm taking this one early as I think the line will be no better than +12 come saturday.
