NHL - Buffalo Sabres vs Ottawa Senators Hockey betting preview

This is the 1st game in the eastern conference final between Buffalo and Ottawa.

Buffalo have eliminated the 2 New York teams. They beat the Islanders 4-1, then Rangers 4-2. They were pretty dominating against Islanders, but in the 2nd series they met more trouble. After the two teams won their 2 home games, the fifth game could have given Buffalo problems. It ended 2-1 to Buffalo after OT. I believe that if Rangers had taken game 5, Buffalo had been in serious trouble.

Ottawa have eliminated Pittsburgh and New Jersey, both 4-1. Against Pittsburgh they won their first game, but lost number 2. But Ottawa played as great as they could, and took home both games in Pittsburgh and secured the the spot in the next round at home. Against New Jersey they won game 1, then lost game 2. But with 2 home game wins in game 3 and 4, they went to the final after a 3-2 win in New Jersey.

2 great goalies tonight, Emery vs Miller. This is a pretty even matchup.

Ottawa have been playing really good on the road this playoffs, and I think they will give Buffalo a good game tonight. Ottawa have been stronger both in PP and PK the last 5 games, and are 6-2-2 in the 10 last games against Buffalo. They have had somr problems playing in Buffalo, where they have lost the 2 last games, but they won the 3 before that. I must also say that the underdog is 11-4 last 15 meetings, which is advantage Ottawa.

This will be a more even matchup that the odds shows, and I will go in with 7/10 on Ottawa reg.time, odds 2.85 @ Centrebet.
