Final game of the season in League 2 today and both of these teams are still needing points. Hartlepool can clinch the title with a win (as long as Swindon dont win) and Bristol Rovers must win and hope other results go in their favour to get into the play offs.

Hartlepool went on a 16 game Under streak earlier in the season and then hit a purple patch in front of goal banging in 21 goals in 9 games. Only 4 goals in their last 5 games though and last 4 games going under 2.5 sees things returning to normal. Over half of those 21 goals in 9 games were scored by duo Richard Barker and Andy Monkhouse, and Barker has 2 of those 4 in the last 5 - Both of these lads are suspended for todays game.

Bristol Rovers are unbeaten in last 7, lost 1 of last 10 games. Last 8 games have gone Under. Scored over 1 goal a game in only 3 of last 14 games.

Bristols Away goals for Average is 0.9 per game whilst Hartlepool's home conceeding average is 0.68 per game.

I'm confident that Bristol wont be scoring too many today, and with Hartlepool's main goal threats out, I dont think they'll be too goal crazy either. Could be a cagey game that Bristol could well nick by the odd goal...
