Last weekend the team lost 1-0 in away to Chivas Guadalajara, tight match that an early goal define. With the defeat the things for Tigres get tight as their objetives have chance as the first one of avoiding the relegation is reached and now their objective is qualified to playoffs.

In midweek the team face their pending match of round 10 against Pachua, match where Pachuca as being the leader and the one that better football is showing, was marked favorite. On the pitch Pachuca field their best eleven, with no reserves showing that altought qualification to playoffs is secure they are going to fight every match. Due to this Tigres looked like the victim, still Pachuca didn't believe it that way because of the numbers the club posses.

But on the pitch everything can happen and that was showed as in the ecuator of the first half, Pachuca DF Marvin Cabrera scored an own goal when a rebound shoot that hit on the post hit him and the ball went inside his now net. Pachuca pressed and generate many scoring chances, but if something Tigres showed that was absolute good defense this highlights the qualities of Tigres GK Cirilo Saucedo. Before the end of the second half, Tigres was able to scored the second goal, after a trough pass of Tigres MF Walter Gaitan that FW "Kikin" Fonseca resolve with quality infront of Pachuca GK Miguel Calero to take the lead 2-0.

In the second half, Pachuca pressed more and generated more goal opportunities, but some of the main players like MF Damian Alvarez and MF Caballero didn't appear for Pachuca this time, and altought MF "Chaco" Gimenez make efforts to connect with FW Cacho, they where unable to score. Tigres relay on counterattack to make more danger and was near getting their goal, still didn't score. For Pachuca in the end MF "Chaco" Giemenez put a free kick shoot on the post.

With the victory the team reached the second position of group 3 and put route for playoffs, the fight for that second place in that group will be tight as just three points separated them from Pumas UNAM, and the last match is between them. The return to victory coincide with the return of FW Francisco "Kikin" Fonseca to the team lineup, after being expelled three rounds ago against Cruz Azul. "Kikin" Fonseca is a always running player that fights every ball he cans. Also this victory helps to break a streak of thee matches without victory for Tigres.

If something characterize the team that coach Mario Carillo directs is the defense, as Tigres have collect 10 matches with under 2.5 scorelines, Just six times have allowed more than 1 goal, which means that eight times the opposite team don't score or score 1 goal. They are the sixth best defense of the tournament with only 16 goals allowed with 14 matches. Is in home where the team has show better defending than on away. The remaning task for Tigres is scoring, area where they improve in the last match but still they are far from what they can accomplish with the team they have, but it is because of defensive playing system that they are unable to have more chances. In last match Necaxa played with an alternative squad as the main squad rest in Chile, in a clear mark that they had give up this tournament. San Luis was set for an "easy" match, but Necaxa substitutes didn't have that idea in mind and make a hard stand even take the lead in minute '20 when FW Hector Gimenez scored. For this first half defense was the constant as the scoreline didn't move, but players do as San Luis change MF Israel Martinez (who got injured) and bring FW Sebastian Abreu to the pitch.

In second half, San Luis pressed more and finally in a rebound goal DF Oscar Mascorro was able to score the goal that tie the scoreline. The tight match continue and five minutes near the end of the match, MF Irenio Soares score the winning goal, that grant the stay fo San Luis in First Division. Necaxa had won finally before this match on away to Morelia but this match was lost due to luck and focusing on Libertadores Cup, the team is eliminated from posibility to reach mexican league playoffs.

In midweek with full team the team lost to Audax Italino and now will have to decide their luck in home against Alianza Lima, not even with the starts the team was able to deliver a good performance and it seems the team is loosing what takes them to Libertadores in unbeaten form.

The team is the second worst defense of the tournament, just in two games they have been able to obtain clean sheets, out of that they have allowed goal in 12 matches. The team is going to face the last matches with the task to make a better closure of the tournament but their mind is ont their game of April 25 against Alianza Lima where they should book their qualification to next round of Libertadores Cup.

For this match the return of FW Kleber Boas from suspension is the best news for the team as the infront of the team is reinforce with great quality.

Tight match that both teams will not like to lost, still the team that look better is Tigres and I expect solid defending something Necaxa has been lacking and Tigres having more scoring chances, still Necaxa good ball movement could help them.

For O/U I expect that altought odds are equal as consider that Necaxa defense is bad right now and allowing anything I expect improvement here and join with Tigres good home defense then Under 2.5
