Superligaen: Horsens v Odense
Horsens await this match in a very good mood after two consecutive wins, against Holstebro 5-0 in Cup game and last week against Sonderjyske 3-1 away from home. With this win they came up to the sixth position at the table and are far away from the relegation positions right now. They did many good things in last two weeks, but now they will have to build up on that performances.
One of their best players, Gilberto Macena finally started scoring while Henrik Toft was constant danger for opponents defense. Horsens have good experience against Odense as they already won against them last season 2-1 at home, but they will have to give 110% today in order to get something more from this game. Horsens will be without Mads Agesen, Troels Splitting, Alexander Juel Andersen and Nabil Aslam who are still remaining sidelined.
Odense on the other side, was much more active during this summer as they also played in Champions League qualifying rounds, winning against Panathinaikos but losing in playoff round to mighty Villareal. After that defeat they earned Europa League group stage spot and won last Thursday against Wisla 3-1 in Krakow. Odense is currently on fourth position in Danish Superligaen and are looking to improve their position as they are considered number 2 in Danish football. They also come up into this game with two wins in a row, against Wisla and Silkeborg and for sure their confidence is great at the moment. Jacob Schoop, Bashkim Kadrii and Kalilou Traore are unavailable for his game.
Both team tend to play open games, attractive, fast and attacking football. Both are in a good mood in front of this game and fast and open match is expected here. Their mutual matches are full with over 2.5 goals and we shouldn’t expect anything different in this match.
