Rosenborg vs Servette
Rosenborg was obviously the better team to the first game, and had better opportunities on goal, but Servette opened the score at 68th minute after a corner. Rosenborg equalized with an amazing shot from 45 meters by Czech Borek Dockal, while they had a great chance to score again with a shot from Markus Henriksen that gone to the post.
Rosenborg is in a very good condition although they played ten games in last 30 days, and had to make long trips to Ireland, Kazakhstan and Switzerland. Occasionally they show some signs of exhaust, but so far they are going great ignoring any fatigue. Tonight they want to ensure qualification in the playoffs of Europa League, after last year’s fail against AEK Larnaca. Rosenborg are much better team than the Swiss, and they did not won the first game just by bad luck, but this does not mean that they will play for the draw tonight as their coach Jan Jonnson stated. They had a full offensive game again Aalesund for the league on Sunday and achieved three goals without conceding, so they are going to play against Servette with the same way, and I am confident that they will win. No major problems to the line up of Rosenborg as only striker Steffen Iversen is doubtful.

Servette took their first point to the Swiss league last Sunday after the 1-1 draw at home against Young Boys. They started the game mediocre with no passion and received the goal early at 25th minute, but they won a penalty just before the end of the first half time. The second half was too bad from both teams, no big action, and they both looked tired.
Now they came to Norway hoping to make the surprise, as they need to score in order to have hopes to qualify, but they have to face an opponent of really bigger value, and a lot of squad problems. Defenders Christopher Mfuyi, Christopher Routis, Vincent Ruefli, Patrik Baumann and Issaga Diallo, striker Julian Esteban and attacking midfielder Geoffrey Tréand all out of tonight’s squad for various reasons, all of them key players.
I do not think that Rosenborg will have problems to win this one, although they do not need a clear win to qualify, i think that they will not risk to play a conservative game. As long time will pass, Servette will give lot of space to Rosenborg and will try to play open in order to score, and this can be fatal.
