Dinamo vs Ceahlaul
Dinamo are 4th in the standings right now, as both Rapid and Vaslui won yesterday. The situation in the club is really bad, as the lack of proper transfers finally “pays off” in the second part of the season. Dinamo are a much better team when playing away for some unknown reason, as on their home ground they have a staggering three defeats in a row, against Sportul 1-3, against Vaslui 0-1 and against Petrolul 1-3. They got a lucky win at Chiajna 3-1 last round, which is their only win in this second part of the season. The injury situation is critical for the white-reds, as they will be without key striker Niculae, who hasn’t trained with the team, but also last round’s hero, striker Alexe, has a slight injury and will most likely not be used or he might play below his potential. Furthermore, excellent right winger Rus is unavailable,so he will be replaced by inferior Stratila, so this means their right flank will be without stamina. The most important player of the season, Catalin Munteanu, will also be missing due to a liver knock he received, so he will be replaced by equally slow, but less imaginative Curtean, while up front we shall see Danciulescu (too old, too slow) and probably Tucudean (no talent) if Alexe is not forced. Coach Bonetti failed once at Dinamo and he will most likely fail again this season and get sacked in the summer.
Ceahlaul are also a better away team, as they gathered 1 point more on travels than at home. They are 3-2-2 in this second part of the season, which is more than decent for their expectation, specifically escaping relegation. They managed to draw 0-0 at Otelul, bet Rapid 2-1 and lost at Chiajna 0-2. This shows that they can defend and play on counters very well against the big teams, but against Chiajna they underestimated the adversary and got punished. Ceahlaul have 33 points at the moment, which is 95% sure to grant them survival this season. This means that they will play relaxed and make the most of Dinamo’s bad situation.
Ceahlaul are a team that have played very well against the big teams on travels this season, using defensive tactics and counter-attacks. They managed to beat Vaslui and Rapid, drew with Otelul and barely lost at CFR 1-2. With Dinamo playing with 2nd string strikers and wingers, it will be hard to break a tight and defensive minded team who play without pressure. Dinamo will use two defensive midfielders this game, forced by the injury situation, none of them having any coordinator talent. This smells like a dull game and even if Dinamo managed to beat Ceahlaul 5-0 away in the autumn, this will not happen again under the circumstances. The crisis for the white-reds will probably continue as i think we might see a draw tonight, but there is still sufficient value in the safer bet, so i will go for Ceahlaul AH +1.25 @ 1.90 with Pinnacle Sports. Good luck.
