Primera: Malaga vs Sociedad
After many ups and downs during the season Malaga has a chance to finish at Champions League place and it’s something they surely won’t give up that easily anymore. It seems like they entered their good form at the right time, just before the end of the season and they are currently at fourth position, just two points below third placed Valencia, but also two points above their closest rivals for fourth spot, Levante. After a very good run of the results, Malaga have lost three days ago to Villarreal, 1:2 on the road and they will surely be looking to bounce back with another home win, home that means so much for them this season as they have earned much more points at home. Once again, Ruben, third choice goalkeeper will have to start the game as the first two choices are still out, just as Duda who is banned, but Martin Demichelis will return to take his place in midfield and this should be quite a big boost for the hosts.
Santander, on the other side, can relax a bit as they are at 15th position with ten points more than relegating placed Gijon. Still, it’s a very good position for a quite young team as their main target this season was just to keep the place in Primera. Guests are on a run of three games without a defeat starting with a 4:0 victory at home against Rayo and with two draws, against Espanyol on the road and Betis, three days ago at home. Although they can relax as their relegation worries are over most likely, their main problem remain very poor performances on the road. They have only 3-3-10 record on the road which makes them one of the poorest travelers in Primera. Two important players will be missing from their squad as Mikel Aranburu and Markel Bergara are both expected to be out through injury.
