Primera: Betis vs Athletic Bilbao

Real Betis, after a perfect start of the season entered really bad run where they had ten games without a win, losing nine of these ten and not scoring in seven of these matches. After that more then bad period, they bounced back with three victories in a row which pushed them to the middle of the table, but most recent results are once again negative for the club from Seville. They are now once again on a losing streak having not won in last four games, starting with a loss to Barcelona, draw in city derby against Sevilla and most recent two losts: against Granada at home and on the road loss to Mallorca. Home team will miss central defender Mario who got red-carded in last match against Mallorca, while Extebarria is returning to first XI.

Athletic Bilbao, on the other side, are really in a great form at this moment. Not only they have only won loss in last twelve matches (it was on the road against Real Madrid), but they have seven wins in their last nine matches and have entered the finals of Copa del Rey (they will play against Barcelona, meaning that they are already in Europa League next season). This great run pushed them to sixth position at the table, with only two points less then fourth placed Levante which is on Champions League position right now. Although it may look like  a dream to get Champions League position, if they continue like they did in last month and a half – fourth position seems reasonable for them. Herrera offensive player is suspended for this game after picking up fifth yellow card this season last weekend which means that Toquero and Llorente will be attacking pair in this match.

Home team is in a really poor form having won only one point in last four matches and guests from Bilbao are small favorites in this match – they won last two meetings in Seville and it’s hard to imagine that they will lose tonight after being in such a fantastic form.
