Primera: Espanyol v Osasuna

Espanyol is having perfect chance for a win tonight as they are hosting one of the weakest “away teams” in Primera for years now. After a very good start, hosts are now slumped up to three games without a victory, two goalless games in a row (Villareal and Sociedad) and are now looking to get victory to improve their position which is now eight on the table. Home team is having very good position on the table and their defense is working just fine, but they still have to improve their goalscoring in order to be even more competitive in next rounds. Hosts will be without Sergio Garcia and Walter Pandiani, two important strikers, however important defender Juan Forlin is back in trainng and will play tonight, while Javi Marquez remains sidelined.
Osasuna, on the other side, is not playing spectacular football, but is at the quite safe 11th position six points over relegation zone. Of course, this position is based on home performances, as they earned only three points out of six matches on the road, receiving already 21 goals in away games. Raitala, left back is unavailable for this game while Sergio and Marc Bertran remain out too.
We don’t see Osasuna making too much offensive problems to hosts, so even with important missings in Espanyols offensive part of the team, we see them winning this one as Osasuna is just too poor on the road and will be defending for the most of the game tonight. Espanyol have won last three matches at home against Osasuna and there is no reason to doubt in another victory against poor travelers.
