NHL: Vancouver Canucks vs LA Kings

Team matchup: This is 5th game between LA Kings and Vancouver Canucks. First three games were taken by Los Angeles Kings. The last one in Los Angeles by Vancouver. Both teams are old friends in playoffs. Vancouver beat them last year, but back than and now is big difference – Kopitar, Carter and Richards. Those are three top players who didn’t play last playoffs with LA Kings. The reason is that Kopitar was injured and Richards and Carder were not on the team back then. Kings were struggling whole year in offense, but when they accuire Carter, their offense looks way better and they are very dangerous in offense. On other side Vancouver is one of the best teams in NHL, no doubt, but they were 3-0 down. They finally won in Los Angeles and cut this edge to 3-1. Their biggest problem was injury of one of Sedin’s brother. He is back now. But I still think this odds are too high. First of all, La Kings have outstanding defense and outstanding goalie. They allowed only 2.07 goals/game and Vancouver have some issues playing Kings. They lost 5 of last 7 against Kings.

Goalie matchup: I will give edge to Kings goalie, he has been more consistent this year, with 0.929%  saves and what is more important, he has one of the best defenses in the league in front. On other side Luongo is little bit shaky this year, despite his 0.919% hi is not the same like last years.

They have very good record in last games against Vancouver and they know how to play them.  They have three stars in the lineup, who are making the difference. Kopitar, Carter and Richards. With red hot Brown, they will be dangerous again. And this odds over 2.50 are huge. It will be another close game, where both sides can win. So value on Kings.
