New Jersey vs Los Angeles Kings

Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Finals begins tonight and what a series of games this should be as the two best finishing sides this season face off. I’m not going to try and persuade you all that I am some great Ice Hockey know it all because I am not, but I do enjoy all sports and have been betting on the NHL right through these playoffs and will continue to do so for the remainder of this series of games also, I will not tip on here but as this is Game 1 and it is a big deal to many I have an opinion and I’ll share it with you.
Some people are talking about the New Jersey Devils coming from the 6th seed to reach this year’s Cup finals but really either side in this series of matches has reason to feel smug entering these games, the Los Angeles Kings themselves have come from the 8th seed to get to this point and have run through some of the best sides in this years play offs and are still to lose a road playoff game. This series will really be decided by 2 players who are at different ends of the career spectrum but both are doing tremendous jobs to date this post season, J Quick for the Kings is one of the best net minders in the business and behind him the Kings have been near on unbeatable but the Devils have an ace goalie of their own in 40 yr old Martin Brodeur, these two will decide who wins the Stanley Cup this season, one an old hand, the other the young and up and comer, two great goalies at the peak of their powers so far this post season and both will have to be in Game 1 tonight also. I’m not going into trends and records here; all I am going to say is I fancy the Devils in Game 1 tonight enjoy the game and series….Good Luck.
