Philadelphia 76ers vs Boston Celtics

The Sixers have taken home court advantage with them and will now look to consolidate that advantage tonight against a battered Celtics side.
I’m not going to rave on to much about this game because I think if you are watching these games then you should have your own opinions on these games by now, however I do think that the Celtics needed to win both their home games to start this series to maybe grab a road win in this game and really take this series in a strangle hold, but they have not and the win for this young Sixers side should have them laying well in this game tonight and that’s what I’ll look for.
These sides have met in Philadelphia on 6 occasions over the last 3 seasons with the Sixers being 3-3 SU and 4-2 ATS, 4 of these 6 games have fallen under the set total.
Both teams committed a high number of turnovers in Game 2, the most for either side for quite a while with the 76ers turning the ball over 16 times and the Celtics 17, The 76ers also out rebounded the Celtics by more than 10, the game was strange for these sides in both categories and I expect both sides to tighten up in that regard tonight.
So far in this season’s playoffs the Sixers are yet to lose at home but they have been tested in every game so far albeit only 3 of them against the Bulls, every game has been decided by 10 points or less.
I like the Sixers to again win in a close game as they have made a habit of doing in their recent trips to the post season; they won as underdogs against the Bulls last series and then won at home the next game 79-74. I’m willing to back that in again tonight, the Celtics are banged up and when KG is making most of your points while Allen and Peirce are struggling it is not a good sign, the days rest will of helped but the truth is there are both not young anymore and their bodies will feel every bump and bruise right now and for that reason I’m on the Sixers in another edge of your seat watch through your fingers win. Final score Sixers 87 – Celtics 83…Good Luck
