York had a disappointing debut in League Two in front of their own fans, losing in Saturday at home against most experienced Wycombe with the score of 1-3. They started the game with enthusiasm and had some good moments to score, but they were quickly deflated and losing by 3-0 early in the second half. They reduced the score almost immediately to 3-1, but failed to achieve anything special then.

I guess that they took their lesson as newcomers to the league against a very good Wycombe, but according to match reports, they made many mistakes in defense and in the second half they had some patience game playing only from wings, something that was easily faced by Wycombe defensive line. York faces two problems today, as striker Jamie Reed and defender Lanre Oyebanjo are both injured.
