Cup: Hertha vs Monchengladbach
Hertha coming into this match in a very bad moment for them. They are not in a good form, their results aren’t good enough for them and the most important, they are very close to relegation zone right now. Team from Berlin is on the 15th position with only two points more then K’lautern which is on play-out spot, but also only three points away from the rock bottom position. As said, they are in a really bad shape having lost all three games since the beginning of the second part, Nurnberg won them on the road while Hamburg and Hannover outplayed them in front of their own fans. Even more important is that their offensive line is not working at all, as they have scored only one goal in these three matches. In addition to their form problems and most likely facing up with relegation battle till the end of the season, Hertha has injury worries before this game as Lell (standard right back), Franz and Janker (standard defenders till their injuries) are all out. What’s more, defeinsive midfielder Niemeyer and one of the best strikers Ramos are doubtful for tonight’s match.
Monchengladbach is completely in different position comparing to their’s opponents today. They are still flying sky on fourth position having only three points less then league leaders from Dortmund. They have earned seven points from the beginning of the second part of the season having previously won over Bayern Munich and Stuttgart, but drew to Wolfsburg on the road last weekend. These are results which their tonight’s opponents from Berlin only can dream of at this point. Also, in contrary to team from Berlin, they have received only one goal in these three matches, but have scored six. Guests are in a really good form now and although their fourth position looks like certain as they have ten points more then fifth team, they will still surely try to reach the finals in Cup too. Good news for them in front of this match is that they have only one missing tonight as Martin Stranzl, standard central defender, is the only unavailable player.
Having all these in mind, it is really hard to see out of form, with many absent players Hertha getting something out of this game. Monchegladbach draw no bet looks really like a sure bet for tonight.
