EURO 2012: Greece vs Czech Republic
Greece enters this match after a thrilling first round opener (and EURO 2012 opener) match against the hosts from Poland. They were almost overwritten being 0-1 down and playing with 10 mans since 44th minute. However, the Polish lost their game for a bit and the Greeks easily returned into the game from the beginning of second half, firstly equalizing to 1:1 and then even missing a penalty which was a great chance for them to get all three points. However, although they didn’t win, they surely have enough reasons to have a hope that they still can make it to the second phase, especially because they will be playing against Czech Republic which suffered a heavy defeat in first round.

Czech Republic, on the other side, have lost their first game against the Russians 1:4, where they were simply completely outplayed by far better team. Czechs are surely here one of the weakest links in the competition, but still they have a decent chance to progress to the next stage, especially because Russia looks like a strong favorite to take the first position in this group. This team played only from time to time good football (first ten minutes of the game, then after the Russia took the lead 2:o etc) and had many ups and downs in their game. They showed that they can control the ball, have ball possession, but simply when it comes to creating chances they were just terrible.
That kind of game, with no too much creativity should be exactly the game which Greeks favor the most. Greece not to lose should be the bet here, the odds are not justifying what we saw in the first round. The Czechs are playing too simply, without a lot of creativity in their game and if the Greeks repeat their performance from the second half-time, we can easily see the Greeks being the dominant side in this match.
