Cedevita vs Cibona
I was on this bet three weeks ago and I’m on it again. That bet unfortunately went completely wrong and the line was surpassed even in a regular part of the game (102-106 final score after OT). The lack of discipline and extremely poor defensive transition from both teams combined with some high percentage periods caused this game to become a high scoring one, but I just do not see this trend continuing today. Cedevita is coming from a 95-70 W @Svjetlost in a game where their coach Anzulovic was upset by his team allowing 70 points to their hosts. The rotation is still not complete(Vukusic, Princ are still out) but the team looks fine and that does not seem as such a huge blow after playing without them for a while.
Cibona trashed Sibenik by 20 (95-75) but they had 28 points lead and only some poor periods like that in 3rd QT saved Sibenik from another embarrassment. PG Wright can push up the tempo for this team which is exactly what they needed. Another PG, El-Amin worked hard on getting into shape and it seems he’s slowly catching the rhythm (10 pts, 3/4 FG) for 16 mins.
With recovered Kus and Zizic coach Repesa will have almost full roster available and this team will have no other option but to show better attitude on defensive part of the floor. Harper will not participate as the number of foreigners in the team is already too high and PG position is occupied. This line is 8 points higher than the one I took at the start of the month and I cannot ignore it.
