Championship: Birmingham vs Forest
Birmingham looks to continue their way to return at EPL, receiving weak Nottingham Forest. Birmingham returned to winning ways, after the draw against Hull City and Chelsea for the FA Cup, crushing Barnsley away with the score of 1-3. They took lead to the score early at 8th minute, Barnsley equalized fast, but they responded again with a goal regaining the lead to the score, and cleared the game ten minutes before full time with Redmond. Birmingham remains unbeated for 15 games, counting nine wins, and six draws, from their last defeat back in boxing day. At the moment they are located in the third place of the Championship, looking forward for promotion to Premier League. They have a great record at St. Andrews with ten wins, six draws and no defeat, scoring 23 goals and receiving only six, while the kept the clean sheet to their last four games, making them by far the best defense to the division. New loan signing Erik Huseklepp is available, while Stephen Carr is still out and Nikola Zigic will probably sit out.
Nottingham Forest achieved a victory of great importance against Coventry with the score of 2-0. This was their first win since 2nd January, and they have won just four times on their travels scoring only twelve goals in fourteen games. Both goals came with lot of pressure and anxiety to the last 15 minutes of a bad game, proving once again that Nottingham struggles to find rhythm to their play. Anyway, the three points allowed them to walk a little out of the danger drop zone. Their away record is mediocre, counting four wins, one draw and nine defeats, scoring twelve goals and receiving twenty two, still having the second worse attacking line to the league. Robbie Findley may miss the game due to hamstring problem, along with Radi Majewski, Chris Cohen, Ishmael Miller, Brendan Moloney, David McGoldrick and Matt Derbyshire. Garath McCleary should be fit to play.
The best defense at home fixtures in the Championship facing the second worst attack at away fixtures. Birmingham is the clear favorite to win this one, and with their familiar game of patience will find a reasonable way to get all three points against Nottingham Forest.
