Championnat: Nancy vs Bordeaux
Complete turnaround have been seen in the Nancy squad in last four weeks as they have six consecutive matches unbeaten run, what’s more they have won five out of these six getting a run that saw them climbing up to eleventh place in Ligue 1. However, they are still not in a safe position as they are only seven points above the relegating placed Lorient with seven rounds till the end. For a team that earned their first victory at the end of October this situation is more than good right now. The team is playing especially well at home as they have three victories in a row, against more than great opponents: Lyon, Montpellier and PSG, three victories that aren’t reality even for the best teams in Ligue 1.
Bordeaux, on the other hand, is at eight position which could be quite satisfying place for them as they weren’t in their best form for the most of the season. Now, seven rounds till the end of the season, they are safe for the next season, but also with no chances to get European ticket. All they can do now is to play relaxed with no winning imperatives and to try to build up their team for the future. This lack of motives saw them not getting a win in previous four matches, earning three draws and loss to Caen last weekend by narrow 0:1. They are not getting right results at this moment and they are well aware of it, admitting that a draw would be a positive result for them tonight.
Neither of teams have fresh injury worries. Under circumstances as written above, it’s logical to expect the home team being much closer to the victory as they are playing in much better form, but also are more motivated to win this one.
