2.Bundesliga: Ingolstadt v Bochum
Ingolstadt will probably fight for survival this season, just like last season and they know that they home displays are key factor to their success. They lost all five away games and all of them with at least two goals difference. However, at home they have 2-2-0 record with two wins in a row, against Dresden 4-2 and against Hansa 3-1. It could be said that their form is in up-trend as they were without a single win till sixth round match against Hansa Rostock. With seven goals scored in last two matches in front of their fans, Ingolstadt is surely hoping for another victory as their opponents are no way better then their two previous home rivals, at least they didn’t show anything that would make them better then Hansa or Dresden. Andreas Gorlitz, right back (ex-Bayern Munich) is suspended for this game, while attacker Caiuby is injured, but he had little impact on hosts game this season.
Bochum, on the other side, is struggling to find their form as they surely can do better then current 15th position. While they are playing so-so at home having two wins out of five games, they are struggling to get any kind of positive result away from home. Biggest thing that can worry Bochum is that they didn’t have hard schedule at all and that their toughests opponents are yet to come. Away from home they lost to Fortuna Dusseldorf, Union Berlin and Dresden while their only draw was against poor Hansa. Guests have no injury worries in front of this game.
Even with all players available, it is hard to imagine that Bochum will bounce back with a win against team that put all effort on home games. Last year Ingolstadt won both games winning 3-0 at home and it won’t be big surprise if we see similar result today.
