2.Bundesliga: Hansa v St Pauli
Hansa managed to get a few positive results after a terrible start of the season, but still will have to work out much more in order to be totally safely from the relegation. First victory they got four rounds ago against Munchen 1860 at home and this is at the same time, the only win for hosts till now which makes them being on 16th position, only two points above last placed Ingolstadt. In last two out of three matches Hansa failed to scored and that illustrates their offensive power, its just one of the worst in 2.Bundesliga. Hosts are without their defensive midfielder Kevin Pannewitz.
St Pauli, on the other side, is aiming promotion this season and for now they are looking just fine. However, some further improvements are need in near future so they can really be secured in top3. They are on a great three wins row on the road: Karlsruhe, Cottbus and Union Berlin, having also one of the best offensive lineups in second tier of German football. Guests will be without Lasse Sobiech, central defender who played most of the games this season. Next unavailable player is Sebastian Schachten left back and Carsten Rothenbach right back. Three out of four defensive players are out and the big question is whether this will affect on the result too.
Guests are real power comparing to Hansa which lacks creative ideas and this should be main reason why St Pauli’s missings won’t make too much affect on the game. St Pauli is supposed to have much more ball possession, to attack more, to control the game and the odds are based on their missings in defensive lineup. Last three mutual matches were won by St Pauli without a single goal received.
