Lepchenko vs Tamira Paszek

Lepchenko will meet this morning with Tamira Paszek in a match from the quarterfinal round of the WTA Seoul Open. Eventhough the odds offered by bookies indicate an even contest I think there is a big difference between these two players when it comes to hardcourt play. Paszek is a very good grasscout player but on today's surface she struggled, only this year having a 6-11 record with 4 conscutive defeats in straight sets coming to this tournament, the last 3 of them in front of average opposition. Lepchenko on the other hand, has climbed to 21st place on the WTA rankings thanks to her good performanced on hardcourt and she shown a strong game in South Korea's capital also, winning easily against Giorgi and Medina Garrigues in the first two rounds. I think Uzbekistan-born american is the favorite here and I will rise the stakes and bet on a 2-0 victory for her.
