Brasov vs Astra Ploiesti

Brasov played against 2 new promoted teams in the first two round, and is undefeated so far. In the first round they led twice with Mugurel Buga two goals, bit Constanca all the two times egalized. In the second round hosted rookie Turnu Severin, and won 2-1 with also Mugurel Buga's late goal. It was a hard game, suffered for the win. Then they played draw against Dinamo (2-2), and lost against Concordia (1-2). They have suffered many changes during summer, many important players left the club, and the new signers are simply average level. They have signed Lazar from Gaz Metan Medias and De Zerbi from CFR.

 

Astra Ploiesti are trying to built a new team, many changes happened during the summer, and a new coach arrived. They started good, taking a win at struggling newly promoted Gloria Bistrita, and then in second round they lost 3-4 against Steaua, a game where they showed their offensive potential but they also exposed their problems in defense. Then they played two boring game, 0-0 against Constanta, and 1-1 against Turnu Severin. I read their defense is funny, despite having some big names there, at least on paper, but has good players at attacking, newly transfered Gabriel Enache scored a double against Steaua, while nigerian Kehindai Fatai is very good on counterattack.

 

Now there are some problems at Astra. They sacked coach Bogdan Stelea, and the new trainer became Gheorge Multescu, who is opposite of the former coach. He is not so offensive manager, he likes safety. It's important to begin with a little success on the bench, so the Astra's players will be motivated. But Brasov should also some points, so I think it will be ending with draw, which both teams good.
