LA Angels vs Tampa Bay

Game 4 of 4 in the game series between LA Angels and Tampa Bay Rays. The Rays have won all three games so far and LA Angels will try to avoid the sweep here. That might be very difficult though considering that Tampa Bay is a nightmare opponent for the Angels since they have lost 8 of 9 games against Tampa Bay this season.

 

Tampa Bay Rays will start with in-form pitcher Matt Moore (9-7, 3.60 ERA). Since the all-star break he is 4-1 and 1.43 ERA in six starts and has not allowed a home run in his last 8 outings. Against the LA Angels, he is 1-0 and 1.50 ERA in 2 starts. This is certainly not good news for LA Angels.

 

LA Angels themselves start with Zach Greinke (1-1, 5.54 ERA). He has not performed what the LA Angels fans expected since he was traded from Milwaukee. He has not yet performed what he is capable of. He is a good picher indeed, but it will not be easy to prove that against Tampa Bay Rays.

 

Pick: I believe Tampa Bay Rays will win the 4th game in this series and sweep the LA Angels. They simply can not deal with the Rays and with Matt Moore starting for the Rays, it is going to be even more difficult for the Angels. My pick is Tampa Bay Rays.
