Steaua vs U. Cluj-Napoca

Steaua was crap so far but still managed to win against 2 mediocre sides after some fishy games. Concordia simply didn’t want to attack while Astra’s defenders all played Santa Claus on the pitch last round, giving away all the 4 goals. And I believe this circus will continue also today when they will meet U Cluj, a team led by Reghecampf’s (Steaua’s coach) wife. Quite hilarious, but this is the reality.

 

Football wise, Steaua is trying to play offensive and they succeed at time, although they are far from what it is asked for them. U has a lot of problems, almost all the players from last season leaving this summer, like I told already in the previeus previews in regards to them.

 

Steaua is the more valuable side here if this would matter. Anyway, Steaua lost against Trnava at home in EL (quite undeserved to be honest) on Thursday and they need a moral boost today in order to be ready for the return leg. Given the circumstances, I think they will get it…
