Viitorul vs Astra Ploiesti

Viitorul will host Astra today, looking for their first win ever in the first league. Although the team names doesn’t say too much and a game between a new promoted side and an ugly team in the past doesn’t promise too much of a show, I believe this will be a very entertaining game.

 

Viitorul is an attacking minded team and has many young players in the squad. Their defense is terrible and this was obvious against Brasov and Chiajna, teams who should have scored much more with a bit more focus and quality upfront.

 

Astra, like never, showed an appetite for goals so far but their defense was funny to say the least, despite having some big names there, at least on paper. Gloria humped them with passion in the first game, only their lack of value preventing them to score more than once, while against Steaua the defense was simply ridiculous.

 

Today I see a game where each team will look to score more than the opponent since it’s useless to try and defend, knowing that most likely you will concede that way. A bet on goals looks like the best choice here.
