John Isner vs Tipsarevic

Rain delay again in London today so there is plenty of time before next matches. John Isner and Janko Tipsarevic will meet each other in eight-final of Olympic tournament. The winner of this match will be among top 8 players on the tournament and will have chance to face the best player of all time and current world no.1, Roger Federer.

 

Today's match IMO will be very equal. Tipsarevic is in great shape, while Isner is player whom everyone simply must respect when they need to face him on this surface. Most likely the best service player on the ATP tour is very danger on grass. It's not easy at all to deal with his powerful serv on this fast surface. No matter who is on the other side of the court, Isner plays the same. He is focused on his own service, to win all six service games. No matter he usually can't make any damage to opponent's service (if we are talking about quality opponents), Isner is not concerned and his only aim is to enter Tie-Break and there his chances are great no matter of the opponent's name.

 

Seems that Isner simply can't play match without at least one Tie-Break. This was the case in even 11 out of his 12 previous matches. Also in most cases, Tie-Break has been played in opening set (7 times out of 11). So, knowing these stats and with these odds of 2.75 this seems to be must take bet.
