Ponte Preta vs Sport Recife PE

In the weekend Ponte Preta lost undeservedly at home to Fluminense 1-2. I said undeservedly because they were the side who gave pressure and dominated the midfield. And the second goal of Fluminense was a discussing penalty. They are loosing two matches consecutively but the quality of the football they play is still same and it is obvious that they have serious strength in the league. Now they are facing to a team who are depended on counter attacks especially at away matches.

 

Recife was hammered by Atletico MG with a result of 1-4 at home in the weekend. They conceded 7 goals in the last two league matches as they also lost to Gremio 3-1 before they lost to Atletico MG. They are doing very serious defensive mistakes. They have one of the strongest physical strength in the league but it looks like they can not use this advantage. If they repeat the same mistakes in defense and miss important chances in offense they will record another heavy defeat.
