Braintree vs Hyde

Just over a month till the non league football season begins and i'm getting in an early tip because the price looks very good and not sure it will be there come the start of the season.

 

Hyde United took the Blue Square North by storm last season, finishing as Champions and now enter their first ever season in the non league Premier.

 

Much of their success was down to a partnership with Premier League champions Manchester City.

 

The Premier league side paid Hyde a good rate to use their pitch for reserve team games which they was then able to invest into good quality players.

 

That deal has been agreed for this season and Manchester City may further help Hyde by sending them promising youth team players as hyde are playing a level above this season.

 

Hyde have already swooped for triple signings in Phil Jevons, Alex Brown and Tim Marshall.

 

Jevons in particular looks a shrewd investment and may be a good bet for the leagues top scorer this season.

 

Braintree did well last season but they are far more under resourced than most teams in this division and look set to struggle this season.

 

Take Hyde to continue their phenomonel form from last season to record an opening day win.
