Spain vs Republic of Ireland

Spain finished their first match in this group 1:1 against Italy and now they will search the win. Any result diffrent from a win will be hard blow for the Spain squad . In my opinion there is a very huge class diffrence between these two teams. Most of the Spanish players , play for the top teams in Europe, while those of Ireland have only 2-3 big names in the squad.

 

Spain are on unbeaten streak of 15 matches and i belive after tommorow night match , they will be 16.

 

The key fact for this match , is how Spain coach Del Bosque will put his squad for the match. If he goes once again with 6 midfielders and no clear striker than probably this will mean trouble for Spain. We see how they've played against Italy - the team didn't have many chances for goal , to the time when Torres come in the field and missed a lot of chanses for a goal.

 

This time he will probably give chance to Llorente.

 

For Ireland i can't say much. I watched their match against Croatia and their defence was a total mess. Also Given after coming from a injury , show a very weak perfomence. Probably Trapatoni is going to "park the bus" like an real Italian coach. in front of Given and will try to overcomes the spains with counter - attacks. However though , the weak defence will have a lot of work from the start and a goal in the first 20-30 min will have to make Irelands attack more and open more spaces in the back witch will cost them even more goals for sure.

 

Very tempting odds that i can't miss.
