Netherlands vs Germany

Netherlands must to win their second match against Germany in Group B to remaining their chance to go into the quarter-finals. This match was expected to decide which team would finish top of the group, but after the Netherlands' disappointing result against Denmark, it might well decide whether they even make it through to the quarter-finals.

 

Against Denmark, Netherlands looked not very confident in defense. They let the danish come but the Danes didn't come and not used the space with enough forward. I think Holland was very good in producing chances but fail to score from any chance they created. The Germans love to press and play fast counters. This is how they played previously.

 

I think Holland needs to attack, they simply can't sit back. A draw wouldn't be enough for them, they must attacking all match. If someone gets a goal, it will be more exciting. I expect a fast play from both sides with not much time to relax as both teams will look to punish the other if they give some place. Both teams have a wealth of attacking talent and possibly should have scored more in their attacking, so possibly it will be a high scoring game!
