Mexico vs Guyana

A CONCACAF qualification match between Mexico and Guyana.

 

Mexico are surely the best team in the CONCACAF zone , wining the last 2 edition of the Gold Cup and beating their contenders USA almost every time . Now they are starting their qualification campaign for the World Cup in 2014.

 

"The Aztecs" are in group alongside Guyana , Costa Rica and El Salvador. In this group , top 2 teams will advance to the final phase of the qualification. Mexico clearly won't have any problems and probably will trash every team in this group with no problem. The team achieved 3 wins in the 3 friendly matches , played in the past weeks. First they've beat Wales at home with 2:0 , after that achieved a tough victory in the last minute agains Bosna with 2:1 and finally make an impressive win over Brazil with 2:0.

 

With strikers like Dos Santos and Hernandez , there has to be a lot of goals in the Guyana net.

Guyana is the pleasant suprise. To reach to this phase is probably their biggest success. Their biggest names in the squad are Leon Cort who play for Charlton , Ricky Shakes who play for Conference team of Brixton and their captain Chris Nurse who play in the MLS.
