Russia vs Czech Republic

Second match in A group on first day of Euro 2012 where Russia is meeting Czech Republic.

 

Russia starts the European championship unbeaten in it's last 14 games. They conceded only four goals in qualifications and they played very good in friendlies, even beating Italy away with 0-3 just a few days ago.

 

On the other hand Czech lost it's last friendly match six days ago to Hungary. Today they are going to meet Russia in opening match of the competition with their main player and captain Tomas Rosicky not fully recovered from a calf muscle injury. But probably bigger issue for Czech is injury of Euro 2004's top scorer, Czech powerhouse forward Milan Baros, who is recovering from a thigh injury and his appearance is questioned in tomorrow's match.

 

Pinnacle gives a 2.25 odd on the home win which i consider very high. With current streak and given occasions Russia is definitely considered favourite for this match.
