Armenia vs Kazakhstan

Armenia showed some good football during the Euro2012 qualies, finishing third in the group, just 4 points behind Ireland. They are a very improved side compared to the past years, and now they managed to overcome the likes of Slovakia and Macedonia. Shakhtar’s Mkhtaryan is their big star but they also have a bunch of talented young players available. They are playing an attacking minded football since their defense is far from being reliable.

 

Kazakhstan is quite a low quality side after the European standards and this was seen during their last campaign. When there is no pressure, they are able to play some nice footie and even score like they did against a weaker Kirghizstan few days ago. Most of the players called for this game are playing in the domestic league and we can assume the playing relations are more established like it would have been if they were gathered from all around the world.

 

Armenia lost 0-1 against Greece few days ago and the difference could have been bigger since the Greeks also missed 2 penalties. Now it is time to redeem themselves and this game is a good opportunity to do it. Even so, the odds for the home win are quite low and I don’t rule kazakhstans chances to score a goal or two here. Therefore, since it is quite a meaningless game, a bet on goals looks like the best choice.
