Stromsgodset vs Tromso

Stromsgodset surprisingly had a bad game away to Aalesund last week where they lost with the score of 3-1, but they still remain on the top of the league table. Although they scored first, Aalesund got the victory with two goals a little before the end of first half, and a third one to the second half. Still, this defeat can’t erase their great performances till now, and that they have a strong roster this season that can finish to the top three. They started with an away defeat in the league against Molde, but recovered quickly, and with five victories topped the standings and remains equal to Rosenborg right now. They generally playing attacking football, home or away, but with some conservative tactic to get points. The climate in Stromsgodset is very good despite the defeat. Main defender Mounir Hamoud and midfielders Martin Ovenstad and Andre Hanssen are all out injured, the last two did not played any game yet.

 

Tromso was much better to the home game against Valerenga and won with the score of 3-1 fairly. Again they showed a very good and stable behavior to their game, scoring two goals to the first half, while Valerengka reduced the score at 81′. With this victory Tromso came back to second place of the league table with 15 points, one below the top and equal to that of Molde. Of course tonight’s match against Stromsgodset is very important and Tromso want the positive result, but their away performances are very mediocre, and they always had difficult times when they are visiting Stromsgodset. Striker Mohammed Ahamed is injured while main goalkeeper Marcus Sahlman, main defender Hans Age Yndestad, and midfielder Thomas Kind Bendiksen are all doubtful to play.

 

Stromsgodset is on a run of twelve games at home without a defeat, and they have scored to all of their last thirteen games home or away. Tromso showing sings of fear when they play away, and with Stromsgodset this season having a rich roster, home side should take all three points tonight.
