Real Madrid vs Mallorca

Real Madrid wants to make history reaching 100 points to the league table, while Mallorca needs a victory to ensure Europa League football next season. In case of a draw, they need Atletico to lose or Levante not to win. In case of defeat, they need Levante and Osasuna both not to win.

 

Real Madrid had not a good performance against Granada away to their last game. They found early back in the score, but equalized with a penalty of Cristiano Ronaldo and an own goal of David Cortés to the last minute of the game, gave the victory to Real Madrid. With this result, the team of Jose Mourinho completed six consecutive victories in the league and most importantly, kept alive the possibility of reaching one hundred points. This historic threshold itself is a huge incentive for Real, and along with the effort to get Cristiano Ronaldo top scorer in Spain and Europe, are enough to keep them motivated. Messi did not scored yesterday, and now Ronaldo needs to score five goals to reach him.
