Broncos vs Sea Eagles
Last week Brisbane broke a winning streak of 6 games by loosing to the Warriors in New Zealand. It is of not much surprise that they lost because Auckland can be an unpredictable place to visit, and the warriors really turned up. Brisbane are a top 4 team this year, and I think loosing two games in a row is out of the question.
Brisbane were knocked out of the finals by Manly in 2011, hence revenge could be a factor with the added motivation of loosing last week and playing at home. I am sure Brisbane will turn up to play.
Manly have been hit with a few injuries, settling in with the new coach and have won their last two games against average opposition. They look pretty good on paper, but that’s paper. I cant see any added motivation for Manly in this game, its played in Brisbane, they won their last two games, and the media is kind of ignoring them.
In contrast, the spotlight will be on the Broncos to see how they respond after being called 2nd flag favourites from bookmakers. I am sure Brisbane will put in an 80min effort for this game, and that will see them home.
