Deportivo vs Valladolid

Super-derby at the Riazor, where Depor will try to keep the advantage of five points up front Valladolid. However, the news are not good for La Coruna and this is a major chance for the Catalans to get a useful win and for us to risk at great odds.

 

Deportivo La Coruna lost in their last game against Almeria (away 0-2), and so talking strictly hypothetically it is less possible to do a straight second defeat. However, the squad for today’s game is poor. Absent will be both basic stoppers Koloto and Aitami, basic extreme Gama, basic goalkeeper Aranzubia, first scorer Riki, the extreme Solomao, stopper Rochela and useful midfielder Vazquez. The only returns are those of the extreme midfielder (3rd scorer) Guardado and stopper Castro. But these returns are not enough to cover the huge absences of the squad. At the posts, it will be the fresher Argentinean keeper Lux (no participation so far) and this is why the bookmakers are lowering the away win since this morning. Of course the field Riazor is their biggest backup for all these absences, as they have 16 wins, 1 draw and 1 defeat, and this is why the today’s game is a risk to bet an away win.

 

On the other hand, Valladolid are in a great form. They have 7 wins and 1 draw in their last 8 games (!), and they are just 5 points behind La Coruna. Valladolid’s aim is to get a straight promotion to the Primera (positions 1 and 2), but Celta are following with just 2 points behind, so the pressure is there.. For today’s game they go at Riazor with a strong squad (only one non-basic absence), since their first scorer Guerra is fit to play. Valladolid have a great counter-attack in their play, and this is what they will aim to do at Riazor.

 

My bet: This is the best opportunity to play a defeat of La Coruna with a very good odds, when they have many absences and are starting to decline in their form. Against a strong team with a good form, the best opportunity to risk an away win. Remember: RISK = GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY, so even if I loose this bet, it is worth it for a 3.05 odds.
