CFR Cluj vs Brasov

After a run of 4 games without a win, CFR managed to win at Piatra Neamt last round and this, compared with their rivals’ results, made it possible to extend their lead on top with 3 points from the second spot. Quite funny considering their late performances but this is truly a bad league with an even worse football. Even more, coach And one has reasons to smile since some of his injured players like Ganea and Kapetanos, along with Muresan who missed due to suspension are back in the squad and ready to play, this leaving them only with Pedro Celestino being out due to injury.

 

Brasov too a breath of fresh air last round, winning against Dinamo at home and moving 3 points above the relegation line. As previously stated, this is not a team to get relegated since there are much worse teams than them in the struggle. Coach Badea will have some problems before today’s game, with midfielder Mateiu being suspended while Bruno Madeira, Distefano, Enceanu and Buga are all out due to injury. Almost all these players are regulars and it will be hard to replace them.

 

Brasov always lost away against CFR in the league and I doubt it will be a different scenario today. They are mainly a home team and the win against Dinamo will most likely relax the players. CFR is stronger in every aspect, on and off the pitch, and they will do anything in their powers to win today.
