Cajasol vs Blusens

Cajasol searched for their identity almost all season and it seems they have finally found it. They are impressive indeed lately with a 5 victories in their last 7 matches. Their transition has significantly improved, they are able to hold a concentration for a longer part of the game and their balanced offense is proving to be too much for their opponents in last month. Contribution from some players that have not had a good season finally came (Tepic) and this team does not have to be perfect from the distance, or to have Paul Davis going for 20+10 to be competitive. However,they still act moody from time to time and there is still room for improvement. They still do not appreciate a role of the favorite where they fail to impress regularly and they are still not a consistent performer in their own house (lost 4 of their last 5 home matches).

 

Blusens is another team that is playing an impressive basketball lately. The team is on 10/18 but they have won 3 of their last 5 and were competitive even against top teams in the competition (Barca, Bilbao). At Bilbao last week they struggled big time in the start and were soon trailing by 20, but were able to show the pride and fight their way back. They were unable to steal it in the end, but have shown serious resistance till the last 5 minutes. This team is not bad on the road, they are on 5/9 for the season and that is a very nice record for a league like ACB. Palacio is back in rotation and both teams have no significant absences in front of this clash. Cajasol needs a W here to secure a playoff, but Blusens needs it also, to avoid relegation, and I doubt it will be a one-way encounter.
