Split vs Cedevita

Split seemed tired in a narrow win against Svjetlost and that is not such surprise knowing their latest schedule. They had 4 visits against Zagreb in a short period of 2 weeks (@Cedevita, @Cibona, @Zagreb, @Zabok) and they are not exactly a young team despite all that image they are trying to sell through the press. In fact, they are quite old team with all of their leaders in 30-es ad with a 30+ minutes on the floor (Subotic, Mimica, Vujcic). Two players that can and will bring the energy are PF Sobin and SF Babic whose development was not unnoticed under this new guidance (coach Bavcevic). This team is capable of playing effective offense even against the teams of a higher level, but I am still pretty sure their defense is not anywhere near where it should be to shut down a team like Cedevita.

 

Cedevita is another team that is in a need of fresh blood, in this phase of season they look like an unmotivated employee on a low salary that hates his job. Coach Anzulovic sounds like a broken record repeating how unsatisfied he is, by his team’s effort, after every single game. The impression is that the team does not obey or respect him anymore, and that is never a good thing. Despite all these problems this team is still a team that can drop 100 points against Split and it would be foolish to think otherwise. First two matches between these two ended with 102-74 and 101-79 both Cedevita’s W’s.OVER 163 is my choice here.
