Sibenik vs Zagreb

Sibenik is coming from a defeat against Zadar in an ugly game where Zadar’s longer bench in combination with interior dominance proved to be decisive. Sharpshooter Puljko is still doubtful for this match, and Rezic, whose game has improved lately, may also skip this one. That is definitely a blow for the home team’s ambitions against Zagreb. Coach Vlasic seems frustrated after all that his team went through, and he’s not to blame, this team really have not had a lucky month. Guard Salamun stepped up in that last match which is encouraging in the absence of these two important players, but the team will need better performances from Katura and Ross to compete with Zagreb in this match up.

 

Zagreb is still Zagreb despite the change of the coach, unprofessional group of individuals that are showing all the symptoms of unhealthy ball club. The lack of effort, laziness on defense, selfishness on offense, the lack of communication or cooperation and the body language that says: “We cannot wait the summer vacations”. The team is complete with only Mulaomerovic as doubtful, but they seem even better without him and it is really not a game changer if he stays absent. I do not want to get involved with the outcome between two teams in a terrible shape, but I like the chances for OVER 162. It is not that important that the first game ended with 112-75 Zagreb W in a game where Zagreb went for 19/26 for 3 but the fact that nobody was able to stop anything on defensive end makes me think this line is shorter than it should be.
