Blackburn vs Liverpool

Blackburn enters this match being in a really difficult situation at this moment as they are at 18th position, with the same number of points as one Wigan which is just behind them, but also the same number of points as QPR which is currently at safe position. Still, the hosts are not playing well at this moment, having three losses in a row and this match is one of the last wake up calls for them. They are still having quite a decent chance of snatching something here as neither their opponents are in a good form, plus they are surely be much more focused and motivated on their FA Cup semi-final which will be played this weekend. Hosts are without Anthony Modeste as he got red card against West Brom on Saturday.



Liverpool, on the other hand, as said will probably be already in minds on their FA Cup semi-final which takes place on Saturday against Everton. Guests are more focused on that game simply because it’s the last chance for them to get a title in this season, but also a huge chance to get a Europa League ticket as they are already even mathematically out of European positions race in domestic league. They are also not playing in a good form as they have won only one game out of previous nine in Premier League. Guests are still without their first choice goalkeeper Pepe Reina who is suspended, meaning that Doni will be between the posts once again.



Situation is pretty simply for Blackburn here, they didn’t play well in recent matches but they still have more than good chance to get away from the relegation battle.
