Eintracht vs Bochum

Eintracht Frankfurt have entered the perfect form just in the right time. Thanks to their four wins in a row, they are currently on second position with one point less than first placed Greuter Furth. But, more important for them, is that they are five points above third placed Fortuna as only first two teams get direct promotion to Bundesliga. Eintracht have won over Cottbus 1:0, Hansa 5:1 on the road, 3:0 Dresden and last weekend they demolished Union Berlin 4:0 away from their own fans. As you can see, not only they win but they win with style with plenty of goals scored. Additionally, they have four wins in a row at home, meaning that they have won all home matches since the restart of the league and will surely looking to extend their good form and improve their chances of direct promotion. Hosts are having only one injury worry, Sebastian Rode central midfielder who will be out in next five days.

 

Bochum, on the other hand, have no promotional hopes but neither relegation worries anymore and they can relax and play next seven matches for themselves, in order to build up for next season. Guests are currently on tenth position, with 31 points earned in 27 previous rounds, but are finding themselves in a real mess since the restart of the league in January as they are on a five matches with no win streak (only one draw in these five games, with a goal difference 3:11). It’s obvious that they do not care that much for the final outcome of the game, but more for their display on the pitch, and it is hard for them to match up much more motivated sides. Guests are still without offensive midfielder Delura and striker Aydin.
