In first semi of WTA in Miami will meet Caroline Wozniacki and Maria Sharapova. Last night Victoria Azarenka surprisingly lost from Marion Bartoli and this is now great chance for everyone else to win this tournament. Among four players left IMO Maria Sharapova is the best player and she should used absence of Azarenka. In previous tournament in Indian Wells Sharapova was defeated easily in the finals from Azarenka, the same was in Australian Open, but now IMO Sharapova has great chances first to reach the finals and then to win the trophy. She did not have too many problems with the service in previous rounds and if this would be the case again today then her chances are even better.

 

Carolina Wozniacki as I said in previous round may not yet said its last word about a possible fast return among the couple best world players. In QF she beat Serena Williams. Her win is not too big suprise but it was suprise the way how she easily deal with Williams. But IMO it is fact that sisters Williams are still not in enough good form to cope with best players on WTA tour. Meeting with Sharapova will be the most difficult match for Wozniacki not just on this tournament but maybe in entire season so far.
