Stuttgart vs Kaiserslautern

Stuttgart is playing very good football once again, after a lousy start in the second part of the season. They have firstly loss 0:3 at home to Monchengladbach, drew to Leverkusen and lost again at home, that time against Bayern Munchen. Finally, they bounced back with a great 5:0 victory over Hertha Berlin at home, then losing to in-form Hannover 2:4 on the road, but winning two more, 4:1 at home against solid Freiburg and 4:0 on the road last weekend against very good HSV. These two latest wins will surely give them big boost in front of deciding weeks for them - deciding for their European competitions spot. Home team is currently in a great shape and their coach said that he will not change anything in a squad that managed to win HSV on the road by 4:0.

 

K'lautern, on the other hand, is in all kinds of problems. They are currently on last position, having four points less then safe placed Hertha Berlin. Not only they are in relegation positon, but their current form is also rather poor and will have hard time surviving this season for sure. Since the start of the second part, they have 0-3-4 record, drawing only to Augsburg away from home. Additionally, they have scored in only two matches out of these seven, having to score for more then 200 minutes. They are the biggest offensive struggling team having scored only sixteen times in 24 matches. Second worst offensive team, Nurnberg has scored seven goals more then them for example. Itay Shechter is back in the squad, but the coach has ruled him out of a place in the starting XI, while goalkeeper Kevin Trapp will have to face a late fitness test in order to find out whether he is fit to play.
