Krka Novo Mesto vs Zagreb

Krka is still struggling and losing the majority of their matches but they have improved and nobody can deny it. In their last two they were tough for 30 minutes (@Buducnost, @Zvezda) but inability to keep the level of energy high slowed them in the end in both cases. Dragic has finally found his range (3/5 for 3 @Zvezda) and that can improve his overall game greatly, once when opponents start to show respect to his shooting abilities, he will get more opportunity to penetrate, which is really his true strength. Pavic and Lalic have connected few good performances down low and this team is starting to look like a good rebounding team. This team will still have tough time when handling a zone defense but their transition is good, their defense improved, and with Abdul Hamid’s penetration skills they can finally create something on offensive end.

 

Zagreb is a team that has a lot of different problems during the whole season but after that saturday’s loss vs Radnicki, their coach Androic spoke about the atmosphere in the team for the first time. He said that some relationships are disrupted and although this was visible for a while,by saying it loud, it brings additional weight to the table. The team had incredible 20 offensive rebounds against Radnicki but they have missed 9 free throws and has only two players in a right mood(Kasun and Simon). What may be a huge blow against Krka is possibility that Kasun stays sidelined, he had a foot injury before Radnicki and his condition gotten worse, he will be gameday decision. Morovic is still doubtful, Heytvelt went to Turkey, Markota is out of form, Rancic is not seeing more that 10 minutes, Ozbolt has lost the confidence, Saric is not playing at all, Simon was sidelined for a long time and coach Androic does not have authority over this team anymore…a lots of reasons for concern of you’re Zagreb’s fan and I like Krka in this encounter.
